Pow weekend in the Tetons!

Winter is finally here I hope!  Snow came to the Tetons by the feet this weekend and the powderhounds were out early in anticipation.  Lift lines stacking up long before opening and big smiles to boot.  I met Zahan with JHMR over at Teton Village on Saturday for the season pass-holder party.  NO, I do not have a JH pass (you all know I’m a Targhee boy), but Core Concepts was sponsoring the party and being that I am the promo team manager and that Z is a CC athlete, we decided it would be best to represent and give out a ton of CC goods!  Oh and did I mention the skiing was awesome over there too.  Hanging out with some of the JHMR team (Crystal Wright, Jess McMillan, Hannah Hardaway, and Andrew Whiteford) was a super good time.


Turns out the skiing was just as good at the Ghee.  Charging up there first thing Sunday morning to find 33″ on the menu.  Skiing with Targhee locals Jedidiah Getzlaff, Billy Nixon, and fellow GTR ambassador Gary Makenzie, we skied the deep and took to the air finally skiing shots off of the north wall of Peaked Mountain from Toilet Bowl down to the Budeaux (sp?) and more.

Now I am off to Denver, CO for the SIA trade show!  See you back in the Tetons in a week.
